The more I study history, and expose myself to the darker side of the world, I get an overwhelming feeling of pain and dread at the thought of the depravity of humanity. The images themselves are burned into my mind. We as humans are so idealistic, but the truth is this world is a barbaric nightmare, especially when you look at pictures and rationalize that these events do happen. The fact that these things happen make me doubt that there is a God, and makes me have hatred towards humanity. How can people do these things to one another?! Do I really want to live to see more atrocities or possibly live through more of them? I've just been binging historic videos today and frankly am overwhelmed, this makes me wonder how a rational person could choose to have children, with most of humanity being composed of monsters. This makes me want to ctb even more, I don't feel like being part of society is worth my effort anymore, all I'd be doing is feeding the depraved monsters. Humanities history is depraved and will continue to be, and I honestly do not want to be part of it anymore. If God put me here to help people I have lost the strength to, as I no longer want to play this game anymore.

The idea that all of these atrocities are justified because many people enjoy their lives doesn't sit right with me. I think of all of the people privileged enough to have enjoyable lives as taking advantage of everyone else. I think about all the people brought here, whether they end up liking it or not, because we're stuck in this giant pyramid scheme. I think about all the victims of animal and human testing that resulted in our modern medicine and technology, and all the people harmed by modern medicine and technology so others can thrive from it. Maybe the normies are right and this all is for the greater good, but I know I don't want to be a part of it. Let me out, please, fuck.

yeah i get it. feels like i'm better off dying since i can't change the world and make it acceptable to me. there is just so much suffering out there i hate to see it. like i can't let myself be happy, from a moral perspective, while there are people out there starving to death.

Yep. Reading history has made me realize that the default state of humanity for its entire existence has been suffering.

Complete agree, in order for one person to enjoy another has to suffer. This world is so twisted

I understand, personally I'd never wish to suffer in this horrific world where there is all this endless cruelty and torture, I only hope for non-existence as only then am I unable to suffer in any way with all finally forgotten about for me, only in non-existence am I safe from suffering. Existence to me will always be the most terrible tragedy that just caused harm, the human species just feels like a mistake to me, I'd never wish to exist, to be conscious capable of suffering to unlimited extents in this existence is something I'd never wish for under any circumstances, the way I see it existence truly does serve no function but to cause suffering all for the sake of it, it's all so horrifying to me.

It's hard to explain, but I get it. I can't read things about genocide for too long honestly, and part of ancestry I struggle to read about completely, because it mainly just a story about an entire people getting oppressed and massacred. When I had more of a will to live it honestly helped me as a writer, and I think people are too oblivious to the tragedy that happened to the past anyways. Because humanity is doomed to repeat it in their greed and hubris. Not to mention the enablement and inaction by an oblivious mass. But I don't care anymore, I'm not playing this game for much longer.
