  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Absolutely not.
Everyone can do as they please, but for me watching some poor soul in pain and agony is way too much for me.

I have enough mental health issues and watching a human hurting would break my heart and overload me and I would start crying and feeling so very bad for the poor soul.

Not really gore as in gore. I dont watch suicides either really. Although, I do like seeing self-harm pics so if you count that as a gore then yeah..

I watch it. I usually don't feel good about it afterwards. It's kinda the same reason I read natural disaster stories or watch Narcos I guess. I see people who have it so much worse than me, unimaginably worse, and it's real like it's not some horror movie someone made up, and it makes me feel better about my current situation. "At least I'm not THAT guy!"

No. I can sort of understand wanting to feel reassured about the dying process. Especially one we might be considering. Maybe I'm afraid it would put me off though.

I'm also not too sure about the morality of it. Maybe if someone has agreed to be filmed. What if they haven't though and what if it provides material for people who like to get off on that sort of thing? I suppose it makes me troubled as to what needs it's feeding/ encouraging out there. From what I've heard from other members, there can be a lot of misogyny on those sites. I don't want to see that.

it is truly frightening how normal it is for schoolchildren to share these videos
especially the demand for zoosadist videos is constantly increasing
it gives me the worst nightmares that humanity is so incredibly ignorant

Yes, the first place I started watching gore videos was on 4chan.

One of the first videos I saw remains etched in my mind to this day. It was an execution. They were on a cliff. A man was shot at close range. It was a large weapon. His head literally exploded. They shot him a second time in the body, and he fell into the void.

Way more than I should. Aye, it's not good for me, and IK I'm a vile cunt for laughing at some of it, but the only person I'm going to kill is myself, so w/e.

Yes, very often. I'm almost numb to it all now. I watch it when everything else is boring.

Nothing wrong with that. The people who are evil are the ones doing the violence, supporting wars, police killings etc. I'm a pacifist and watch gore. The biggest hypocrite is the one who shuts his eyes at violence but supports it politically.

Yep, but it's not a common thing. Mostly morbid curiosity, occasionally to vet frustrations. SIGSWs are something I really like to see because that's my planned method.

No, it makes me physically ill. I'm sure I could be desensitized to it, but I don't particularly want to be.

I would be open to it, if it was the right content and for a good reason. For the sake of it? No. A piece of me would die.

I'll watch made-up, phony gore in movies and tv shows. Nothing real, though.

I can appreciate the technical expertise that goes into creating it... but I don't like it. There are some movies that contain gore that I enjoy thematically for plot or character development or maybe just a favorite actor or performance... but I turn away at the gore parts.

I said no, but for a while back I was on a kick of watching police shooting suspects. It was bodycam footage on YouTube, so it was heavily censored, however.

Not to sound like an edgelord, but I've become desensitized to all gore. I mostly watch suicides, people being shot and medical videos. The brutal types of gore have become uninteresting to me.

I watch it when everything else is boring.
Same kinda. When it's late at night and I've spent all day refreshing the same 5 websites so many times I'm bored to tears, but don't yet want to go to bed, I figure ah what the hell, I'll see if there's any new interesting videos on the gore sites I'm familiar with.
