Discussion Do you think you've enjoyed life?

If this was my last day I would be full of regret and would look back and think what a pathetic existence I had if I am being honest .

I've certainly had good times but overal my life has been filled with anxiety and heartbreak so far l.

There have been a few really good experiences but unfortunately they're outnumbered by the bad times, so much to the point that it's not worth it anymore. So have I enjoyed life? Nah.

My life feels like a creaky, worn out ship sailing through a violent sea. There's brief periods of calm in the storm were I can catch a break, but those times are coming less and less. Eventually I'll be drowned in the waves of my own torment. Then it won't matter if I've enjoyed life or not.

I don't think so really. I have never really enjoyed life, I mean times in the past have been better I guess, but enjoy is not the word I would use. My life has not been worth living, for the most part I have just had negative experiences. I see it as better to be never born in the first place. Existence is just tedious to me and that is why I find so much comfort in death.

As a child I definitely had inhibitions that affected my ability to enjoy experiences. My lack of self-efficacy continued and I suffered from it throughout life. So I definitely didn't enjoy life to its fullest. However I got to enjoy some family vacations, playing tennis, and playing Atari. I also had some friends who were a lot like me who I enjoyed being around.

Right now? No.

When I ctb? If that happens then I would have done everything that is possible for me already. So I'd be satisfied, but I wouldn't have enjoyed life or lived it to the fullest.

Immensely. Just thinking about my life gives my brain a joyous seizure

I did before permanent acne skin condition, and or acne disease my life was carefree and sociable before age 12. Now 14 years later I am tired, exhausted, miserable, low energy, not enthusiastic about life I hate it

yeah , i used to laugh on things naively .. but it doesn't mean that i did enjoy life ; for sure it was hard to survive for the moment i am in , to just feel numb and empty ..

If today was my last day, I'd say I enjoyed life. I was able to travel and experience things I wanted to, which is enough for me. It wasn't until the last few years where life started falling apart; majority of my family passed, my mental health deteriorated causing friends to leave triggering loneliness, etc)

It bothers me that my parents would never see me get married, have kids, own a home, and progress further in life.

If I would die today then i'd say my life has been pretty ok overall.

Majority of it wasn't great. But I did have a wonderful period of it that's now over. It made life worth the time I spent here I think. I could have died more miserable before experiencing happiness but luckily for me I did experience some beautiful things. So I guess I'd say I enjoyed life in a way.
