What do you think of this spot for jumping off a cliff? Will the trees cushion my fall and prevent my death? The whole cliff is 300 meters high, but as you can see, it has an overhang, so Its more. I would jump from where the red line is. It's in Central Europe. Screenshot 20251213 213704 Gallery Screenshot 20251213 213520 Gallery Screenshot 20251213 213505 Gallery

I highly doubt that's survivable even if you land on a tree or something.

Seems deadly. If you survive your DNA deserves to be passed on to make the human race stronger.
Just kidding of course, but yeah you'd die from that fall

I would jump from the first red line and could land on the second red line. It has an edge I could fall on. Do you think I would survive if I fell there? Screenshot 20251213 213704 Gallery

while it does looks deadly, seem like it won't instant because of the trees, specially if you land on your feet by accident, too many variables in my humble opinion

My biggest concern is the trees, and that the bottom isnt just a flat bed of rocks. At least from what I can tell in the pictures. it looks like it has a pretty steep slope. which means potential to slow you down a lot. Still a long fall though. Seems hard to imagine surviving it. Wait, now that I look closer at the photo with the 2 red lines. You're planning on hitting the bottom red line as being the landing spot? How far of a fall is that? Seems a bit short to guarantee death. Worst case scenario I can think of comming at you. I'll spoiler text it because it might be demoralizing to read. I don't want to tell you this is a bad plan, and it's not what im saying. I just worry that it won't give you the end that you hope for. Here goes.
You land on your feet at the bottom red line, both your legs break. You slide off the bottom red line cliff, and bounce off some trees at the bottom. Hopefully this knocks you out, but we're going worst case. You break a few more bones, ribs or something, one punctures a lung. Adrenaline works its magic for a little, and allows you to crawl forward. Though the trauma is so severe, that your body begins to shut down. Some time later you die as a result of catastrophic injuries. if you do it when nobody is around, you are unlikely to be found and rushed to the hospital. So my worst case scenario, you die, but it's a much more painful death than you had originally hoped. i guess the actual worst, is that you somehow survive.

Do the rest of you also think he would suffer a lot in the fall?

I have read that a person committed suicide and that they found his body with quite a few blows, so it seems that it kills you but you don't die instantly.

That looks problematic. I would not. It doesn't follow the basic principles of (1) a long straight drop onto a hard surface and (2) no obstacles which could break your fall. The trees, the ledges, just no.

Ça me paraît problématique. Je ne le ferais pas. Ça ne respecte pas les principes de base : (1) une longue chute droite sur une surface dure et (2) l'absence d'obstacles pour amortir la chute. Les arbres, les rebords, non.
Yes the same think...

Surviving that would also guarantee you could never try again. I'm no expert but it looks like you're more likely to cbt from injuries than the drop, that's if no one hears/sees you or even bumps into your body if you land on a walking trail

I hope everything works in your favor though. If you're absolutely sure I don't think this is the best way
