I love using dark mode, my fav. So i prefer dark mode over light mode since light mode just hurts my eyes.

I was astounded to find there are more than a few registered users who use light mode. I thought it was set by default as a way to repel unwanted visitors 😄

I think dark mode overall is common. But sensitivity to light is also common for people with depression and anxiety. So not surprising most here said dark.
Also I've noticed many saying they have Asperger's. So I've looked into it because it seems to match me well. And it's a symptom there too.

Dark mode because it doesn't strain my eyes.

I prefer the dark mode because it's easier on my eyes and because my phone has an OLED screen it's easier on my battery too lol

wait that can affect battery life???
Yes. Showing bright content on an OLED screen drains the battery a bit faster. On older LCD screens no matter what content is shown the battery drain Remains the Same.

I don't like dark mode. I try to leave light mode on wherever possible.

Dark mode all the way. It's just better on my eyes and reflects my mental state.

I personally like to use light mode (especially on this site) since it deters me from staying up too late, which is a big issue for me
