I never believed in anything spiritual or magical even if I found it a interesting topic, especially if it's something unansweared but that's beside the point. So going back to the topic do you see tarot cards as a way of looking into the future or just fun thing to to? And if you honestly believe that tarot is a legit way of reading the future how much would you bet that someone whom you know can somewhat accurately predict what will happen or what have already happen?

I just see it as a fun thing to do. 🙂 I also find the topic interesting but I do not see it as something accurate.

If people could really predict the future, psychics wouldn't need to sell their services or earn money from social media, hehehe

Not familiar with Tarot but I do readings with Lenormand and it gives nice tangible results. Took me some years of practice to really understand the system and all the rules and techniques. I do believe it works, as I keep a spreadsheet of all the readings I do, the prediction and the end result. Success rate is 70% off of 185 questions so far so not a bad ratio for something with no science behind it.

I don't think anyone can make accurate predictions without studying the system deeply and practising a lot. I don't know how Tarot is but with Lenormand there is a lot to learn: meanings of the cards in every context (love, career, family, life, school, health, etc), meanings of pairs of cards, how to read different spreads, techniques like mirroring, chaining, counting, so many things.

I'm a firm believer that just intuition gets you nowhere. Lenormand to me is 80% rules and 20% intuition.

I use tarot. Not as some mystical divination tool of the future (so, I wouldn't say I "believe" in it), but as an exercise in reframing how I look at something. I find it helpful personally.

I see it akin to dream analysis. You don't get any clear information, but it may be helpful in processing different things.

It's more like a tool for introspection.
I used to do tarot but not so much anymore.

tarot readings often play on the barnum effect, if you're willing to believe the results you'll find whatever the reader says to relate to your situation

I think it's only used as fortune telling in tv and movies. Usually it works on projection where the meaning of the cards is static and the querent interprets the meanings and applies them to their life.
