Oops- I messed up the poll... I tried to change it but, it just messed it up further. One of the options was supposed to be: 'I only have a primary method prepared.'

I feel like a backup method would be sensible. I really feel like I musn't fail if I ever have the guts to do it.

SN is my main method for now. I considered inert gas but, I don't fancy storing a tank and, my neighbours are nosey. I don't think I've got the guts for partial and I just can't imagine me succeeding at other things. I want to prepare something else but, I'm just not sure what.

Maybe my greatest fear is maiming myself enough after failing SN that I can't attempt again and, I'm forced to phone for help.

Do you have backup methods planned or even, prepared? I remember Vizzy had three. SN, inert gas and jumping.

SN is my primary. I don't really have a backup method. I considered inert gas but it's a lot of prep and can be expensive, plus i'm scared i'll mess it up. i guess my backup is going to be jumping but i don't know if i could overcome the SI

My first choice would be partial/full suspension. It has been tried and tested. If I do chicken out, I would go with SN (only reason I haven't ordered yet is because I am scared of customs/police).
If that does not work, I am going to look into inert gas.

As the poll was supposed to have "I only have a primary method prepared" option I won't vote as that is only thing that applies to me. I only have access to partial hanging as I can't buy things like SN or go to somewhere outside cus of my parents trapping and restricting me.

If SN fails, i'm fucked.... didnt want to do anything that can traumatize someone life.

I think my backup plan is going to buy SN from another source and try again since dont want to hang myself, neither partial. Maybe carbon monoxide can be the last try, buying a small grill, light in the bathroom where it's not going to set fire to the building, try to seal and sleep. This was my way out that if found what poor chinese do, or by accident, some people do in a very cold day and die accidentally.

Well yes IF it is combined with the other specific drugs mentioned in PPH.

Overdosing on amitriptyline alone won't work, if that was your plan.

Antidepressants were never recommended to overdose on, except for the particular case of the Ddmaph method because of its synergistic effect with digoxin.

No. I prepared amitriptyline, metoclopramide and gidazepam (instead of oxazepam, because I have no access to it in my country) + alcohol. This is my plan. :)

Rope for hanging. Also have sodium azide (don't really want to resort to this). Also have the night-night "kit" (beanbags and ratchet strap). Also looking into buying a gun. I like having options.

Nope everything rests on a single complex method. Oral overdose of fentanyl plus gunshot to head plus jumping. I have all these things on hand and not using them all at once would be foolish.

SN is my primary, i ordered some online and im still waiting for it to arrive. if for some reason im not able to ctb via SN, id probably buy a rope on amazon and do either full or partial suspension. but i havent done much research/planning, hopefully i wont have to.

I don't have a method completely decided yet but i will most likely go with jumping. if that does not work i will try hanging but to be honest here if i can't complete jumping i am not going to complete hanging.

Secondary: Drowning (sitting on fence of nearby river and letting body fall backwards), jumping (GSW while on edge of a building or bridge), or exposure (hypothermia in the middle of the woods), my preference changes all the time.

Overprepared? Maybe. But I'm the sort of girl who packs 8 pairs of underwear for a weekend trip, lol.

i read about many methods here, but, my favorite option will always be jumping from a high building, it's just so simple, one step and you go, MANY other methods are infinitely more complicated or require a lot of money, the issue is that IDK where to access a building that is tall enough to do it, especially as a NEET.

I've considered this with SN definitely. If at first you don't succeed... But then- I'm not sure if it failed once, whether I'd have enough confidence in it to try again.

The other worry I have is if I manage to incapacitate myself in some way. Will other methods become more difficult to set up and carry out? I considered setting various things up ready. Can you imagine the sight for those poor first responders though? Suicide methods everywhere they looked like some personal chamber of horrors.

The full suspension method seems to be a fail-safe method. I know of two cases in my city that used it, and they are no longer here.

Even searching for images on Google brings up photos of people who used different types of materials to hang themselves, in situations that seem unplanned, rather improvised. Maybe that gives me some calm.

Yes, jumping would be like a last desperate method.

How are you CTBing with amitriptyline? I take that medication but I think you would need lots of it (400+ pills) to CTB. Do you have your plan already?
My first and preferred method: SN.
