  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

Having had a couple of welfare checks before (& having worked for emergency services), there's so many dodgy elements to these welfare check reports…

Police are busy - they don't turn up in packs of 6 for one welfare check on one person who bought a substance however long ago… they come in their crew of 2. If once on scene they determine the need for backup, whether that be more police or Ambulance, then they call for it.
Police don't knock on neighbour's doors to ask about someone else's behaviour/mental health re suicidal ideation. It's not their job, not part of their training & not appropriate. They're there to check you're not in immediate danger & palm you off to a psych ward if you are. They may ask members of the household if present to validate what you are saying.

If Customs detects an illegal substance coming into the country, they will stop it at the border. This isn't kilos of coke you're trying to on sell we're talking about where they'd want to catch the syndicate. They would confiscate the offending package & that would be that. You may go on a welfare check list at that point but no one is going to let it get to the local post office & stop it there.

I call bullshit

There is a source that you encrypt stuff on? Like a drug market? sorry im so lost why cant this site just let you post a link.
A link to the dnm won't work from the regular internet. You can test drive the darknet by downloading a tor browser. If you need a compete tutorial go to a forum centered on using the darknet where you're questions have already been answered a million times. No one here can hold your hand through the entire process as it could risk aiding and abetting if you do any illegal actions.

Between DMC going down, the full blown Ofcom investigation, the BBC article, and more and more wellness checks being reported, some by users 3-4 years old, it's more likely than not right now but you are free to not believe it

No bullshit. New account but my old account, "hematomatema"...well, that's me.

They are doing welfare checks. In my case, it was a single guy, other person probably just stayed in the car since it happened about an hour ago from writing this and I doubt there's going to be much going on of note at a teenager's house at 8AM. Might be different for other people they've deemed more at risk or something? I wouldn't know. I don't think they knocked on neighbours' doors (or at least I reaaallly fucking hope not. That would be incredibly awkward.) He did do what you said though, checked I wasn't in immediate danger, ensured I disposed of it, didn't need family members to validate anything (because I told him that they didn't know what SN was, let alone that I had it at a point in time.)

Please don't pay the doubters any mind. I was one of them when this first started, but I was doubting out of fear, fear that it will spread (to the US where I am).

I appreciate you sharing your story as to the events that occurred. It is very helpful for everyone else here, especially in the UK.

what did you say to him?
Honestly I kind of just admitted it because I'm not really suicidal anymore. Just told him that yes, I had purchased it before, I had flushed it down the toilet, then he asked me if I was still suicidal, I said no, then he just told me a few helplines. Stuff like that. Might depend on who you get but in my experience it was kind of nothing, exactly what I'd expect a basic welfare check to be.

I had a welfare check at 10am this morning - UK. I ordered in December. 2 policemen turned up. I wonder how many people in the UK have actually ordered it and how long ago their list goes to 🤷🏻‍♀️
