DMC AirBNB payment not going through?

Hey guys,

I tried ordering SN from DMC using the AirBNB but when I tried to order it my payment didn't go through and it told me to contact customer supporter. I know I have enough money on my account for the order so I don't really know why it didn't go through. Does anyone have any idea?

I think airbb and catching on, I mean they would be able to see no one is coming to the house right? Would not put it past some pro lifers to report them as well. Best of luck!

Maybe your bank blocked it?
Maybe if it's a new account you have to verify something?
Idk just throwing ideas, my bank randomly blocks charges, but I think I used PayPal for mine because my bank blocks international charges somewhat often so I use PayPal as a work around.

I geniunely hope this doesn't happen to me, I am supposed to move out of my parents house around my birthday which is in 2 weeks and I hope this is still up by then.

This happened to me a bunch when I was buying it last night. I ended up just giving up on airbnb, and paying through wise instead. I made my account last night though, so maybe it's a restriction on new accounts or something

I payed last week with Airbnb and I didn't have any problems. Maybe it's a general problem with the app? Or maybe with the payment method you are using? Your bank maybe is blocking certain transactions. If the problem is with airbnb, have you tried to contact customer support?

How would they? They don't watch every one of the houses. If the owner tell them that everything is okay, then they think is okay. The second possibility (people is reporting it) is more likely, but I don't know if it's true. If they knew what is happening, they would have deleted the listing and blocked the host, I think.

Purchased mine late last week from DMC via the Airbnb method. The order status was updated to "paid" on the main website, but on Sunday I noticed that Airbnb was blocking any internal communication, stating "This message has been hidden because the person no longer has access to Airbnb."

I don't know whether Airbnb has cracked down or if the host has been forced to stop using the method due to recent developments, but safe to say this is not a viable payment method until there's an update to the contrary. My order /was/ posted on Monday so users that got in before the cut-off should still have their items shipped. DMC does offer a variety of different payment methods, so losing Airbnb doesn't necessarily spell the end of SN's availability from this source.
