Quick Story Time - I Need Advice BAD

My KN was delivered while I was at work and unaware. I knew it needed a signature so I figured I would just reschedule for a Saturday. Unknowing to me, my friend popped in... They thought they were doing me a favor by helping me obtain a package and signed for it for me...... I got home shortly after, and they were so proud of themselves for helping me "oh that was great timing! I got your package for you! you almost missed them, but don't worry I gotchu."

I feel SO much guilt. I don't want them to get in trouble when I use the KN as they genuinely had NO idea what they were doing. They know I'm suicidal, and I love them dearly, but they aren't very smart in general. I don't even know how to explain to them the purpose of the package they signed their name for.

Any advice... please?

Your roommate usually wouldn't get in trouble just for signing for a package if they genuinely didn't know what it was or what it'd be used for. People sign for each other's packages all the time. The responsibility would mostly fall on the person who ordered it and intended to use it. It's probably best for now keep them on the blindside of things. if your plan is to go without guilt
