Old thread, but I'll chime in quickly. I've seen a photo of someone that did this. Their head was not in the photo.....

I think you're likely to succeed, but the car would be ruined. Either it crashes, or it's fine but someone has to clean that. Either way, several people will be traumatized along the way. I know some people don't think about that, or don't care, but I wouldn't do something that puts other people's well-being at risk, especially strangers.

Since my method with paracetamol was deemed as unworthy as an end i thought long yesterday and read something pretty interesting. Decapitation with a car and a rope. You just put your head through the noose and accelerate till the rope yanks your head of. I read some articles about it and i had to admit, that this method seems pretty save, even though there are only a handfull of this cases. Every try and success endet deadly, even the people, where the rope tore. It seems with this method even if unsuccessfull, the first thing to rip in your neck will be the carotid artory's, which lead to an extremly fast and painless death in all victims.

So i wondered how much rope would someone need to do such a thing? 30m? 40m? I mean the location is clear, you only need a tree and a little bit of road to accelerate, thats all. And should the rope be pretty sturdy or is a normal rope more than enough? What do you guys think?
I posted on a lady tried it with golf cart ended up paralyzed neck down

The force yanking on the rope will be equal to the mass of the car times the speed at the moment of decapitation. This assumes you have a solid rope anchor (tree).
I think you mean mass times acceleration. Mass times speed is momentum, which isn't the same thing.

I have some questions.
The rope at the head should be ties with a slipknot?
Should i remove the headrest or the rope go through the bars?
How to secure the rope at the ankor point tree?

how would that work exactly. With a cabriolet? How would you make sure that the rope is not hitting in halfy before it is finally straightend? Sorry if the question is dumb, its late where I live and I'm tired.

I wish someone would put my head in a guillotine.
If someone came from behind and tried to decapitate me I wouldn't resist.

I heard a story from MrBallen on YouTube of a guy who built a guillotine in the closet of his bedroom. He rigged it to a timer, laid under it, and took a bunch of sleeping pills. I always thought that would be a good way to go, except whoever found my body would be traumatized.

Ngl I've been wondering who the most recent person to die via guillotine is. It couldn't have completely stopped 30 or so years ago.

Could someone advice me, this is contingency if there is nuclear war in case (SO NOT EVEN SUICIDE) i survive which is very possible these weapons can miss and you can survive sadly despite what others think...

I didn't prepare and now i am panicking. I have chronic pain and problem reading it is hard. I don't know where are you finding these stuff, information i found is incomplete at best... I cannot even unzip archive i downloaded from resources section on Tails...

I want to ask about Decapitation by jumping method, i have RSI and i am very clumsy motorically so this might be problem! As i read it is often not chosen for this reason! From what heigh is this performed from and what if it fails how painful it is then? Can you survive this? Yeah it is avoided by reason it has to be like right height and hard to execute...

I am also scared of jumping because in my country there are no above 150m buildings and you can survive it in rare cases even then... How sadistic this reality is... And if i stab myself i might no land on head then so it might be conter productive... Yeah i wish i could jump but there is nothing this height to have high chance of death and i am not good motorically there is chance i might not land on my head...

Mainly i care about being 100% lethal so there is no way to survive. Nuclear war could really happen at any time now so there is not much time to prepared. I was paralyzed so long that i couldn't even read, even now it is like screws in brain just thinking about this...

So i think that method with car and rope sounds best could someone link me specific guides how it is done PLEASE?! But i am not sure if i get even out of city anyways and there are no tall enough buildings that is scary after nuclear war being stuck in city not even be able to get away... I could go end up in rubble too and there is nothing i could do, but in any case i want to get prepared so i can avoid dying extra slowly and painfully if possible...

I would really appreciate it i have chronic pain and it is extremely hard for me to figure this out and i am in distress...

So much this. I have a feeling like lots of people just love to talk about suicide and go through 2million methods in their head how they would do it and then they live in limbo, where they want to be dead but they don't really want to be dead. Before i torture myself anymore with other methods i just stick to one and go through with it, cause that's how people do it if they are real serious i guess. I just ordered a good rope and will look around on malls, where they parking lots don't get closed at night. But i pretty much agree with everything remember just said. You need to be egoistic and just do it if you are really serious about ending it. If you just think all the time about how to do the absolute perfect suicide, then maybe you should think about if you really want to commit to it at all. Glad to see at least Remember has the same mind as i do
Isn't that the thing with chronic level of mental health issue. Ultimately you want to end your pain and suicide guarantees that, but you also really want to know is there any other way that can take away your pain and makes life livable again, but nothing else guarantees to end pain like suicide does. So the decision to ctb is a fluctuating thing depending on the intensity of the fluctuating pain one goes through at the moment. There is no "just do it if you are really serious about ending". People fully flip when it comes to a point of extreme unbearability. On the other extreme is recovery and you do things to get better. Peoples intensity of decision towards suicide lie between these to points.
