By saving someone's life somehow. Like a kid in the middle of the street about to get run over and I somehow push them out of the way and get killed.

At least it's possible my life would have had meaning.

the idea is good in thought, but in the incarnation it is very difficult to overcome the instinct survive . (it is very easy to just lose 2-3 liters and survive... Im a living example, heh)

Definitely under my control, not accidentally or by someone else hand. I always admire ancient Greeks and Romans - in a proper time (whatever reason it was) they made a great feasts. Slowly bleeding They had been talking with their nearest frends and family, sharing assets, listening music and poetry. It was a truly celebration of life and death.

I'm walking through a lovely forest with a brook, reading one of my favorite books under a shady tree, and then unintentionally dozing off as the gentle breeze caresses my skin for one last time. I think that would be very peaceful, a painless and an unaware way to flee from this plane of existence.
