Hello everyone. I want to end myself as soon as possible and I'm playing with the idea to jump in Front of a train.

How safe would it be to jump in front of an incoming train and lay the neck on the rails?

I dont know but It maybe very very painful if you did not die . Also people on here usually avoid this method due to the shock it might give to the train driver/passengers etc . Also someone has to clean the "mess" up . So usually its not recommended . SN might be a better option .

Everyone needs to make their own decisions on what they're comfortable with.

IMO a train has too many unforeseen variables that could leave you severely injured. I'm also not a fan of involving innocent people in my decision to ctb.

Nothing. Just PRO lifers trying to get people to avoid this method.

Decapitation has to be 100% painless. Fuck the train driver, let him see. The world is ugly. Humanity sucks.

Its because they have been made directly involved without being given a choice.
Others like paramedics and police get desensitized to finding bodies and wouldnt feel as personally involved as the train driver. Plus the state of the body would be very different after a train impacts than say, sn.

People on the east coast US always complain when someone either ties up traffic because they jumped from a major bridge or because they did the train thing and now their train is delayed. So, if you choose either of these options, people will feel very inconvenienced and possibly harass your family on social media over it. Saw an incident like it on a big bridge a few weeks ago, man were people pissed. I guess if you want to be polite don't choose those methods because they might inconvenience people and thats just the worst thing ever I guess, people absolutely flipped the fuck out

Maybe it depends on where you live but it seems like the inconvenience was worse than the potential mental damage or whatever. But yeah if you pick a heavy traffic area and people get delayed boy will they get mad

The fact that you are 'playing with the idea' makes me think you are not taking the concept of CTB seriously. This isn't really something you toy with.

Personally I think there isn't a more selfish way to CTB. Not only does it impact the train driver, but the passengers on board, the fact that your body will be unrecognisable minced meat which someone will have to collect from the mile of track it's becomes spread over. The gruesome nature of this sort of death could impact 50+ people. I just don't think that's a really good energy to be carrying with you into your next life.

You have a huge chance of dying, but something could go wrong and you not dying directly or at all. No solution are perfect, you can always have higher or lower chance of failures. You need to find the one that you comfortable with.

But the issue stay with the driver, even if is not responsible he was in charge of driving, he could blame himself to not have stop the train in time.
You need to figure out if you ok with a potential trauma for this person or not.

i saw omce an interview (i think it should be in yt) of a girl who did that and ended up alive, on a wheelchair. a friend of mine ctbd this way succesfully with a 1 day delay. just my 2 cents

Sure there is a trauma anyways BUT it is a difference to force someone to be involved in it

I feel like if the train is going really fast, and you lay your neck on the track, it couldn't possibly fail. And it's really not that messy from the videos I've seen. I was considering this way too but there's no freight schedule anywhere and I'd need to know where on the route the trains going its fastest.

I personally wouldn't go for this method. There is a risk of survival and ending up mangled, but clinging to life. That sounds like an unbelievably horrific prospect to me and would put me off of attempting in this way

I don't see how speed matters if you lay your neck on the rails. A train weighs tons and I'm pretty sure your head cracks like a can of soda under that weight no matter the speed. It feels like the most 100% way to do it to me.

Don't do this, its painful and traumatizing for all involved.

If it goes wrong it goes horrifically wrong. There are videos (I think from India) of men cut in half by trains who are totally conscious and aware after for the final minutes of their lives, while Onlookers gawk and film with their phones.
