My dad recently died I found his body after he'd been rotting for two days. he was only 59. Regardless he was somewhat of a hoarder, didn't like throwing things of use away, in addition to that he was a very sick man, every trip to the pharmacy was a big carrier bag full of prescription meds, this combined means I now have been left with a HUGE assortment of meds, going all the way back to 2017. Everything from sleeping pills and strong pain meds to the 100 different tablets he was on for his various illnesses and heart problems. I can only imagine how easy it would be to whip up a concoction that will finally put me to rest. I value these meds higher than the stash of cash he left behind, but I'd trade both for another day with him.

Sincerest condolences to you for your profound loss.
If you're thinking of an OD as an exit strategy there's over an 86% failure rate with prescription meds.
I hope you're able to overcome the feelings grief
& can find the strength to carry your dad's spirit in your heart 🤗🌹 💔

I am so sad to hear about your father. Even if he left you enough to CTB, please take time to mourn.

I have no good words for your loss.
You seem to love your father a lot. And it must have been a very traumatic experience that you found his body. 59 is too young as you said. But now he is free from all the illnesses and so many medications. He might be at a better place.
Cry as much as you can. And I hope you will find some strength to go on. Whether you find it or not, you will decide what comes next.
I feel your pain.

So sorry for your loss. And that you had to find him. And clean out all his stuff. Try to think rationally even though it's really hard- rx pills would not be a good idea no matter how many.
