I am currently in the process of planning my CTB, but there is something that concerns me. I live alone and my relatives live 400km away. So I may be discovered several days or even a week later. If I send a delayed email, I'm afraid they won't come until a few days later.
Do people plan CTB at home when they live alone? How are you going to do it?

What about sending email to the police?

In France we can only text the police, we can't send e-mails unfortunately...

I'd imagine most people who ctb do it while alone.
It's safer and it removes the danger of having the attempt interrupted and increasing the chances of surviving with a lifelong disability.
The worst that can happen is being found days, weeks or months (for the more socially isolated) later in an advanced decomposition state.
It's only bad for the ones who will have to handle the corpse. Nothing that should concern me. I didn't ask to be born anyway.

According what I know, it's also possible to send in sms, I'm not sure if that will help but check this link

Sorry to hear about your situation. As far as I know living alone is the best scenario for ctb, a lot of people aren't living alone and are having issues getting away from others.

My family is 500 miles away and I have no one here..I plan to leave a note taped to my neighbors refuse can on trash day. It will simply say call police and have my door unlocked.. If I'm not able to complete ctb I will remove note. I also plan on leaving a packet on goodbye notes ready for post office with stamps and some money for their trouble (my neighbor is very trustworthy) and ask them to mail them.

I'm not sure I understand, OP. Why are you worried about your body not being discovered quickly?

I live alone and my relatives live 400 light years away. I'm going to CTB home and I hope I'll find a partner here, I'm scared to go alone.

It's not at all rational I know, but I don't want to be discovered when my body is decomposing. I'm thinking mostly of the person who's going to have to come into my house. But I know I shouldn't...
I also don't want my friends (my family will be notified) and colleagues to worry about me when they don't hear from me for several days or even weeks. I want my death to be known as soon as possible.

Anyway, I have to postpone my CTB. France is in confinement and I've returned to my family because I won't be able to bear the solitude for several weeks.

Yep, no emails, same dilemma here. I'd also prefer as much a presentable corpse as possible for my close family with discovery and funerals in mind (although it happens dressed, I've yet to hear about a nudist one - the abdomen area decomposes first)

As an option, I've thought about sending a letter to the local police office by mail, at a time after the mail is collected daily.
The old school way instead of technology : no rehearsal, anxiety free from setup error or having the content scrutinised risking interception, no hassle for the receiver (unlocking password protection, software compatibility) / no barrier processing
