CTB By Explosion?

I wonder if there is some method out there that involves blowing yourself up with a pressure-cooker bomb or something like that. I mean, i've been thinking about this ever sense i came to the conclusion that CTB'ing by a shotgun wound to the head would be pretty efficient. And, since i'am having problems buying a gun for now, i thought that the next good thing - the next good destructive impact - would be the one created by a explosion.

I searched a bit and didn't find any threads that talk about a similar method. What are your thoughts on this little idea of mine? Is it possibly as effect as i think it is?

Dying by explosion is one of my fantasies but I can't find any explosives for sale anywhere and they're too hard to make, so it will probably stay just a fantasy.

But if you really wanna commit you should be able to do it right( there are many explosive infomation on the net) Just need some basic chmistry background and you can figure it out. You should be able to get many of the ingredients either directly online and some you might need some subtraction. (There are many people successfully made mini bombs, i.e. terrorist)

Just please don't hurt anyone in the process/get anyone invlove in the process and make sure to at least leave some money for your family/love ones as they already lost you (or at least enough money for the funeral and grave)

But then again, do you really wanna go though all these?

I'm not sure if it is that easy to just sign up for the military. In order to do so, you would still have to go through basic training, psychological and physiological tests (which the former may screen you out), and then get to the point where you do training with grenades or other weapons. Also, during training, you are likely with many other recruits and military members so it's kinda difficult to do what you are planning to do. Furthermore, if it becomes evident that you are going to ctb (unless you hide it really well), then you would likely be punished for it and put on suicide watch while in the military.

No. Sorry. Not the best idea. The chances are you will either get arrested and detained while researching or purchasing the items necessary or you will harm someone else or rip off your own arms in an explosion.

Yeah you're right, I probably won't be able to gather the mental energy let alone physical strength to go through all those tests.

I have been trying to find arms dealers in my city cause I need a shotgun, and when I do, I'll be sure to ask him about a grenade or any kind of explosive. Where I live, there have been lots of suicide bomb blasts in the near past, and they still happen every once in a while especially during election days. Also, there are several no-go zones controlled by drug cartels. I have not lost all hope for a grenade.

Yo, can you NOT do this? A guy in my city tried to do a murder suicide by blowing up his home. Now he's on trial for murder and he literally ruined other people's homes and left the neighbourhood shattered. Do something that involves less people.

I forgot to mention: i live next to a very empty planice area. I can explode whatever explosives here without damaging anything or hurting anyone.

I know i forgot to say this, but it's kinda sad that you guys thought that i would be dumb enough to try this method on a populated area.

A professional bomb makes it sure. But if the amateur makes a bomb, it's the big hazard. After explosion you can be a burned cripple, without legs, hands, hairs and eyes, but still alive. Or you can die slow in pains at many days.

I dont think this is a good idea, i think i saw an ex terrorist on news that while you can probably concoct an explosives using some easy to find materials you need training for that and he said that he literally took months of training to become able to create some explosives to use in suicide bombing. If you dont have a proper training or proper connection then i suggest looking for other ways since improperly made explosives probably only harm you and have low chances to kill you.

You can buy explosives quite easily, for example: Propane from walmart. If you want to make sure you do not survive buy at least 4 tanks and make sure have something to cause the combustion. If you really are dead set on this, do it in a place that is not populated by people. I wouldn't mind going out in a literal bang but that is a bit too flashy for me. Best of luck to you!

Suicide by explosion can be very quick and effective I think. But you have to use real explosives like dynamite, not start cooking your own!

And ideally you should detonate in a room with concrete floor, roof and walls for a more powerfull effect. In an open space most of the blast energy will be wasted. I know of one instance where somebody killed themselves by dynamite in a bunker; he died instantly and left very few remains.

But please don't hurt other people or their proberty!
