Never stop ranting with me, remember. Depression is really such a weird phenomenon when you think about it. How some people can actually get past it, they get better, wild. I could never.

No worries, it's with pleasure. After a while it becomes like a second skin and the thought of being without it seems absolutely impossible. I get it. Have you tried SSRI's in the past? Sometimes they can make things, manageable. Or just less of a blurry numbness.

I would definitely try another one. Haven't heard much about citalopram. At least that way you can see and say to yourself you know it doesn't work. Some people swear by them, they can't all be wrong. You could be one of the lucky few.

I don't believe in a hierarchy of pain. Some may suffer more or less, and that is a tragedy. But your own experiences and such shouldn't be seen as a fraud or not poignant enough to be an issue, especially for yourself. So don't really, you're just gaslighting yourself with that ideology.
You said you can't get a therapist, or psychiatrist easily if I remember correctly. Because maybe seeing someone for your possible autism could be a good start, some SSRI's for the depression. Maybe meds for the anxiety if it is just anxiety or not a symptom mix with the possible neurodivergency. Things to think about.

I live in a country in which getting a diagnosis for autism is... so fucking hard to get, they expect you to be the textbook version of an autistic person; and not so much therapists/psychiatrists are specialised in autism around where I live, which sucks.

Having to do all of this is really overwhelming, that's why the system sucks. You have to do so many things in order to maybe get something that could help you.

and know that if you need to share whatever you feel comfortable with, my eyes are open

I hope at some stage you manage to get some things working out go be able to receive the care you need. Have you thought about online therapists or such from other countries via apps for such? Thought that would be expensive.
