Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Just install it from the official website like a normal browser is all. Find the onion site, i don't have it with me right now but in case you don't find it yourself i'll search it for you. Yeah then use it like a normal browser is all since you don't seem so concerned about the privacy aspects of it so need for Tails or the bridges or anything.
Why shift to a much slower browser though? It can be frustrating.
FIRSTLY THANKS :)
SECONDLY THE UK IS PLANNING TO SHUT THIS SITE DOWN SO I WANT ALTERNATIVES YA'KNOW...

I mean I use Tor, and in my case it's literally as easy as downloading Tor from the main website and then using it as a regular browser, lol. You can tweak security settings to make things more secure and likely break some sites from loading properly, but it depends on which sites you go on, if you decide to go on sketchy .onion sites etc.

Yeah Tor by itself is safe, just stay away from sketchy sites.

You can safely download the Tor browser and use it as you would with any other browser. Of course, you should steer clear of sketchy websites as some of them my try to infect your computer. If you only access reputable sites and don't wander too much you should be safe. You can also go the nuclear route and use a dedicated operating system only for TOR browsing, but it may definitely be overkill for your usage. Good luck.

Just download TOR? Don't we need VPNs? And eventually tails and stuff for other things we might want?

What Tor really does is that it routes your connection through 3 separate servers (nodes). So your IP address only becomes known to the first node, but since the traffic goes through three places before ending to the target website, the website has no way of knowing who you are.

I don't want to scare you, but here's the catch. LE is deeply entwined within the network. They probably keep a greedy eye on everything that happens there. That's why it's good to send sensitive information encrypted when making purchases (not saying that you'll make any). That encryption has to be done manually as PGP (if you use Apple, Kleopatra PGP won't work, get Gnu Privacy Guard instead). Besides, ISPs are still able to see that you are using Tor (obviously they have no idea what happens there), so they may, in some countries, take a note of that.

TOR IS NOT 100% PRIVACY.

It's good to keep in mind that most people are still overly suspicious about those who want to stay private online. When educating them about these things you're gonna get the good old "I have nothing to hide", which is a sign that you can give up on them. Lots of people still think that online privacy equals shady activities. Nah. I personally have no interest in buying anything outlawed, I don't like anxiety.
