Hi everyone,

So I have finally decided that tomorrow is the day.
I have got my rope. I have got a place for full suspension. I know that my neck is suppose to go in the end with the slip knot. What about the other end? What kind of knot to I secure the anchor point with?

What is your anchor point?

Anyway, easiest slip knot in the world is just double the other end of the rope, tie a simple loop and slide the noose end of the rope through that.

Also...nothing wrong with sticking around and taking another shot at life my friend.

A water bowline would suffice as a good knot for an anchor point. Just make sure to test your knots, and think about if you really want to do this. Link to the knot

Look for something simple that is easy to tie.

People generally advise tying a snuggle hitch on the anchor point. However, if you can't reach your anchor point because it's too high up, consider a bowline knot instead.
