Venting Chose this coming Monday for ctb (Mlk day)

There's now a deadline to my life. I'm being investigated and once it's competed I will be charged, my job lost, all money loss, reputation completely destroyed forever, house loss and most likely prison. I've decided I'm not living with a criminal record and having other people control my life like this. For the record what I did did not cause harm anyone else, and I was living a relatively happy life before this, but this is how it will have to be.

SN has arrived and I have everything ready, just waiting until Monday when I can book a hotel and ctb. Thanks for all the help in this forum, you guys are awesome!

Considered leaving a note, but people will be able to guess why I did it eventually once word gets out, so I'm not too worried about it.

I'm so sorry to hear of your situation. It's always horrible when people do it because they feel like they have no other choice because their backs are against the wall. I hope everything goes smoothly for you. We are all here if you need us. I always like to say that everyone here has their arms around you. That's what I always imagine is everyone here having their arms around the person who is saying goodbye, for whatever reason, whether they're leaving because they're recovering, ctb, or for any other reason.

I'm not sure that being investigated means they track you booking into hotels.... (although I'm always happy to be corrected if I have my facts wrong).

Yep I know exactly what you mean. Being black in America is almost like being forced to live in an entirely different planet as other people. Nobody treats you the same. It sucks and it's exhausting.

Yes, and I already stupidly admitted to everything. And to note, I'm not depressed, but I'm not scared of death, and my ability to exit life before other people start to control it is my choice far as I'm concerned. It's really not a big deal to me. My desires and memories will all disappear with me, so anything I want to accomplish will disappear anyway and it won't matter. Better for me than rotting away in a jail cell, while society kicks me when I'm already down.
