Help cheap suicide methods?

hi, im recently on the verge of being homeless again and i'd rather be dead than deal with that. my parents aren't an option and im slowly making my friends hate me by constantly having to crash at theirs. i have no source of income because im too mentally ill to keep a job and have little to no experience to begin with

everything seems so bleak and i feel like i'll never be anything but a leech because of my mental issues. i'm sick and tired of everything and i'm running out of time

Is there a shelter near you that you can stay at until you can get on your feet? I'm not sure where you're from, but are you able to get financial assistance?

I guess the cheapest way would be jumping but you'd have to find a place high enough for it to be lethal.

currently trying to apply for ssi but the process takes ages and i doubt ill be able to access my current mailing address by the time ill actually get an answer.

nearest shelter is about 40 miles away (i fucking hate small towns)

was already considering that but was trying to see if there was a less daunting cheap method. def need to save up some money for some alcohol because i'm totally gonna chicken out otherwise lol
