Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

So because hanging is so goddamn difficult I have been exploring the option of just driving my car into something solid with my seatbelt off and in a sort of standing position behind the steering wheel so my head is close to the windshield

There is a road by my work that is 1 km (0.6 miles). It is straight but could use some work and has potholes. The barrier itself is pictures below. Behind it are some shrubs and a little bit of a drop off then a fence

What does everyone think? How fast do you think I will have to be going to make sure the blunt force trauma to my head causes instant death.

Thank you all.

Love and kindness

I would advise against any method involving a car. Also that barrier is designed to absorb/deflect impact. I could go into detail but it's been discussed alot and it's just not a good plan to use a car.

It's always been said that the worse thing you can crash into is a large tree. Their roots are deep and they don't give way. Cars tend to end up wrapped round them.
I would take care if planning to ctb by car crash that you don't hit anyone else or endanger anyone else.
You have every right to do what you want with your own life. But not anyone else's.

I figured if I had my head very close to the windshield that the impact will still kill me. I will do more research

100% the road is not very busy, it is a dead end. I would do this method late at night and not run red lights or stop signs to do so.

Thank you both for your input

Yes, I would say if you want to crash your car, hit anything that is solid enough to withstand the hit this way the vehicle (your car) will take the brunt of the hit and then make sure your velocity is high enough (over 130 km (~80 mph)) upon impact to ensure success rate. Speed is important as well as angle.
