I would message a mod directly but I don't know how. The issue is that another user is trying to start a conversation with me but they said that only the follow or ignore button shows up. The start a conversation button is not showing up for them. Can you fix this issue?

It's the same for me, I'm unsure if we are able to private message people on this forum though I do hope we can.
Oh for new accounts it takes a while to get that function. U have to post more and it shows up. Since I'm older I got the function but then it disappeared.

Maybe try opening a ticket which is in the menu. I think that is what people do when they have individual problems with the site functioning.
