Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Really interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Whilst reading that and following my train of thought I couldn't help wondering, where its not acceptable to euthanise the mentally ill and they are expected to "exist" wouldn't it be entirely fair to provide them recreational drugs? Might seem a bit outlandish at first but when you think it through it makes sense. Drugs come with problems that would mostly be avoided if they were provided legally and responsibly. Certain drugs could have massive positive impacts on some peoples quality of life imho. But only if they're provided legally and reliably. They would be clean and unadulterant free. They could be spoken about honestly with a gp and the effects monitored. Opioids can really improve quality of life from a mood perspective. Some stimulants might do too. I think the benefits of each drug would vary from person to person and some drugs would be off the table due to the volatility of them. Cocaine and crack for example don't provide much benefit as they come with a crash which is just likely to worsen things. Cannabis and opioids however, do not. Its a bit off topic so I don't want to start a whole conversation and derail this thread. I just wanted to share what I considered as a result of the article linked in OP.

I think it's fair to say that the OP is a significant and massively important step in the right direction and hopefully marks the first of many around the world. I really hope it sets a president and gains traction.

Regarding drugs, as you may know cannabis is legal throughout Canada. Also magic mushrooms and even lsd can apparently be ordered by mail within Canada without any reaction from the authorities. Google mushrooms online Canada if you are interested.

Very interesting news. That is a big leap forward. Other countries should follow suit.

Denied physical care, police justice after assault... Mental prejudice. Also denied therapies. No jobs. No friends. No family. No lover. Bedridden. Agony. I bet they will deny death too.

Need it. Need person to help get it. They dont help to get therapy. Gave me incompetent in hobby place. No knowledge. No desire to help me. Told case too severe. Everyone reject. Told me medicated to be more pleasant. Hide distress. Then why refuse help because visibly need help. Sick of it. Want hang now... Scared. So fed up bullshit. Make us wait years. Lies. Manipulation. Wait in admin labyrinth. Trap to stay alive. Waiting instead of ctb. Lies. Fake offer?

I feel bad for the first older man. He said his good byes and OD on his drugs. But was saved because his wife ended up calling for help.
This is a sad reality that you can pretty much not tell anyone what you are doing or they will intervene.

The others have obviously tried all the therapy and medications as well and that should be enough to qualify for being able to have a medically assisted suicide.
That therapist they had on is wearing rose tinited glasses and reackon he is completely full of BS hopeful rubbish.
Do they really care or is it that they can just get paided for messing with peoples wishes and wants.

People selfish. They think we want to live. But crazy brain defect from illness. Society is the illness. Dearh is the cure. Ctb isn't losing control or harming self. It's taking control while helpless & stopping pain
