No, once you cut your throat, blood comes out and you will pass out eventually (after intense pain).

this is not a method. i don't even think someone on the extreme end of being mentally disturbed and psychotic could do this to themselves. sure, they could slice up their neck and probably die, but you wouldn't be able to saw off your head before you passed out. and if you somehow remained awake long enough, you'd be paralyzed as soon as you damage or destroy the nerves that convey control signals from your brain to your musculature and extremities. i also think you'd stop your heart if you cut the vagal nerve, since with hangings the heart on rare occasions is completely stopped by significant pressure/force on the vagal nerve. so that's yet another thing that would prevent you from doing this.

a guillotine, however, would work for this purpose. but sawing your own head off? impossible.
