Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

If I put a noose around my neck, did everything right with rope anchor etc then take a large benzo dose, could you in theory black out and then the hanging process proceeds. Or is this not likely to play out in the manner I'm describing?
I could see in theory, as your passing out and your legs give out, the shock waking you up from the benzo coma, but in theory regardless wouldn't hanging be "better" under a huge dose of anxiety meds

I'm not a doctor, but I've read a lot over the years, enough to tell you that benzos can reduce anxiety and make the experience feel less physically intense. In high enough doses, they may dull panic, lessen the body's instinct to resist, and help you dissociate or even black out before full hanging causes unconsciousness. You might pass out from the benzos before the hanging fully completes, or you might not. You could vomit, lose motor control, or fall incorrectly. Benzos can also complicate things by making your movements sluggish, which might affect positioning, or cause a failed attempt that ends in injury or survival.

I was thinking to mitigate this by making sure the slipknot is already pretty damn tight around my neck and I will still be standing on a chair beforehand. Does this kinda make sense?

I personally wouldn't take any medication, as it could hinder the procedure and end with a failed attempt (the fewer risks the better, without being under the influence of any substance). You don't know how your body will react if you take a large dose of benzos. In any case, you won't be uncomfortable for more than 20 seconds, then you'll lose consciousness and won't be aware of anything. I don't think there's any way to be completely without feeling anything... with a rope around your neck and bearing all your weight.
