Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I think so. But I'm not sure if pain can ever be avoided. And pain is subjective. Say physical pain, I can't even bare the thought of tattoos but for many it's relatively nothing.

i think what you're describing here may be a manageable amount of pain, the sort of pain that comes with running a mile and feeling a sense of achievement. Pain (ie discomfort and challenges) can be good things in their own right that spur you into action and creativity, if you've ever heard of "flow states" that's what I'm talking about. It's when the pain outweighs the potential good of overcoming it that we arrive at the conclusion that suicide is necessary. If I could be my ideal self it would be someone who can overcome challenges as they happen and get a sense of fulfillment out of that. But since it can't happen and I don't want to suffer so much forever then the choice is clear and the pain needs to stop.

it's only human to want to live and not experience pain. it's not asking for the impossible but it is unrealistic to expect no pain at all. but pain all the time, now that's fucked
