British Chancellor gives 10m to suicide prevention help, and 200m to filling potholes!!.

Of all the announcements today, these two made me chuckle in a sad way in that we know where the priorities lay. Its ironical in away because it is this government's monumental failings that have in part, created the ingredients for mental health problems.!!

To be fair driving down roads in my area is like traversing the grand canyon. Enough to induce suicide in itself. Probably money well spent. If they do it properly. Which they won't.

It doesn't matter. Suicide prevention is a joke anyway. At least filling potholes is useful

Suicide prevention is just prolonging suffering so no money should be spent on trying to force people to stay in this hellish world, it's better that the money is spent on filling potholes, as they can damage cars. Instead of suicide prevention the focus should be on legalising assisted suicide and removing the stigma towards suicide. No matter what people say the right to die is a human right, and suicide should be viewed as a choice rather than something to always be prevented.

At least they are putting 20/21 of their money to good use. Suicide prevention and awareness is pointless and everyone knows it.

Too bad 10 million's gonna get flushed down the drain. Would have been put to better use to further help filling potholes.
