Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Many people who cannot access or afford standard therapy might find some help in video meetings and classes with online support groups and organisations. This information is not designed to be a replacement for professional therapy but for many will also be much better than nothng. Some of...
Years ago, through a very close and formative relationship, I became acquainted with Borderline Personality Disorder, the struggles of people with these symptoms, and even how badly modern psychiatry can fail those who deal with it. In a way, this relationship started my interest in mental...

i don't wanna sound like an expert cuz i just started real therapy this year but truly there's not much you can do outside medication. personally, talking about it doesn't help me and i've lost all passion for the things i used to love, but if you haven't, the best thing you can do is listening to music, reading, drawing, play video games, go for walks literally ANYTHING to keep your mind off things. if you aren't on any medication my personal experience is basically i just am. that's it. i haven't had any episodes outside light anxiety attacks and slight dissociation since i started taking but i also haven't had much drive to do things. but basically if there is something that you enjoy doing please just do it, anything that keeps you moving forward will help. sorry this isn't the advice you were expecting to get, but there's some really good threads on here to at least help you familiarize with what you're feeling, beside sharing experiences. that kind of what helped me a little

I wish I could do DBT therapy and learn the skills that way. Medications also might help for me.
I sometimes feel like I'm riding a rollercoaster I never wanted to get on. I feel hopeless that I destroy all of my romantic relationships, and my trust issues are so distressing that I avoid relationships anyway. I'm toxic and jealous, probably even emotionally abusive.
I don't even want a relationship to work out, compared to just wanting peace, and anxiety and crushing to stop.
To your point, distractions are huge when you're triggered/splitting, if you can recognize it and have the self control to not react.

oh yeah that hits too close to home, i had to break up with my girlfriend because i was really deep into an episode and it wasn't fair on her (plus it had been kinda rocky towards the end) and i lucked out with friends that are very patient, specially when i was at the ward.
i don't know how it is with you but my paranoia comes and goes, whenever i realize it's getting bad i try to immediately disengage with the thoughts i'm having, it's hard but in my case my work keeps me very busy so it helps.
if you've never tried therapy (any kind) i recommend you give it a try, while it doesn't work much for me, everyone's different, it might help you. just know YOU are the one in control there, you choose your pace and how much to share, don't try to talk everything in the first session (i did that with my first therapist. i was. Not Good). with meds i can't really tell you much cuz they might give you a different prescription, plus it varies country wise.
either way i kinda related to what you said so if you ever need a lending ear hmu i love listening
