Method Bleeding out

Hey folks, I am a new member of this community. I have about 4.9l to 5.6l blood in my body, so let's say I have 5l and in order to die, I have to lose 2.5l blood. How long is it gonna take to lose two and a half liters blood if I cut like a couple of veins on my arms on both sides and my carotid artery? I am sorry if I sound a bit naive, I am really desperate.

No point cutting vein's, they would most likely just clot. If bleeding to death is what you want then you have to go through an artery. The bigger the artery the quicker it will happen.

Thanks for your response, you've been really helpful so far. If I only cut my throat, how much time would it take to die? Time is a very important factor for me, because I'm in a mental hospital right know. And if I survive loosing two and a half liters blood, would I suffer from long term health issues?

You might want to wait until your out of hospital before doing anything rash. You never know, they might be able to help you.
