try taking magnesium glycinate, l theanine sublingual, lithium orotate sublingual

read up on gaba/glutamate, part of your issue is that your glutamate is upregulated.

I'm in protracted withdrawal, it's been three years since my last pill. I took benzos for a little under two years and I still have some withdrawal symptoms and sensitives. I tried them to calm nerve pain, but now I'm worse off.

Its worth mining reddit for commentary on these. There are communities like r/stopdrinking, r/quittingphenibut, etc. Phenibut is very similar to a benzo.

a few others that come up are apigenin (chamomile tea), NAC, and agmatine. NAC is powerful but be careful with it, rarely causes long term anhedonia. If you try it, take it with food and no where near alcohol. Take it short term. Agmatine works for many but it gives me brain fog. Flush niacin also came up which makes sense, the AA founder was cured by it iirc.

glycinate search

if you decide to try supplements track symptoms on paper and especially if they cause rebound anxiety. Like taurine makes me more anxious later, really innocuous things cause problems. Also take breaks or vary dose.
