Belt question

So tonight I'm using a belt, but I don't know where exactly to stick the other end so it won't budge. I make loop using the buckle which is where my neck goes, but where can I stick the other end where I won't budge so I can go limp? And how is the doorknob thing done, I don't see how you get it on the doorknob and your neck at the same time

Most people use a doorjam for this method.
