You aren't a terrible person, you are just human. Everybody fucks up. It's normal. You are still trying your best to be nice and honest and that's what matters.

That means a lot to me ty but I still keep fucking up and after a while I keep doing things I know are wrong again. Sorry I will keep trying though and I really appreciate your answer
You are right. Knowing your doing something wrong and continuing to do it is objectively bad. But some things are so deeply ingrained in your behaviour that simply thinking, 'I will stop doing this thing' does not work. You have to strategize and plan against yourself almost as if you are a different person in order to make sure you do not do that thing. And if you fail to stop doing that thing, sit down and analyse what went wrong, why it happened, and how you are going to prevent it. Sounds like the cliches we have all be taught as a kid, but it does work.
But maybe this isn't a post for solutions, but for support. In any case, self improvement is good, by all definitions. I hope you feel better, :D
I'm a terrible person to the point where even if I were to suddenly stop being terrible (which already seems impossible) then I would still not deserve any form of redemption or forgiveness from anyone, especially not me.

Thank you it means a lot to be told there's still a way forward. I'm trying now to change my behaviour through making sure I can identify things that will lead me to be bad before they happen and trying to distract myself or make me focus on the regret I will feel after.
Thanks I rly appreciate your insight and I feel a little better now that I have a plan ty!
