Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

"Asphyxiation can be one of the worst ways to go. It is painful, anxiety-inducing, and not at all quick. To induce strangulation or any form of suffocation on another living being is to relinquish all traces of empathy and basic respect for life. It can be heartbreaking to think of those that have perished in such cases and the suffering they must have endured. How many poor souls have been buried alive? Of those, how many have even been found? The horrors of asphyxiation reverberate throughout the grave."

I've been trying to view this as a possible method but idk when I read stuff like this..

definitely better to constrict your carotid arteries, rather than windpipe. arteries cause hypoxia, windpipe causes asphyxiation.

That's specifically talking about compression of the trachea. Those don't necessarily apply to other types of asphyxiation. If you can't flush out carbon dioxide, the high concentrations of it in your blood will produce those symptoms.

I'm having a bit of a problem because I can't really know if it will constrict that until I try it and once I've tightened a cable tie I can't really back out if I've done something wrong. I suppose that's the same risk with hanging going wrong, etc.

that's exactly what scared me out of hanging + methods alike. they're such accessible methods, just a shame its not as simple as it sounds :/
