  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

This is from the Daily Mail (don't hate me) but it's a good read to understand some of the feelings that his daughter, family and friends went through as her dad decided to go to Dignitas because his Huntingdon's was becoming unbearable.
The takeaway for me is that some people just can't see past their innate rejection of suicide as a choice and would easily condemn people to a miserable life rather than allowing them to chose to go with a bit of dignity.

Thanks for posting this, will read it a little later. I am very interested in Dignitas and assisted legal Euthanasia and only put a post up couple days ago about would anyone choose to go down that route rather than CTB themselves. Look forward to reading it.

That was a good read, thanks for posting.

This article is very well-written and it needs more attention. I see that it hasn't been picked up by any mainstream media. Maybe it doesn't fit their narrative...

I think I saw a caption saying it's being published in Cosmopolitan. Might have misunderstood.
