Are there any gas methods simpler than inert gas exit bag?

I was looking into inert gas and start realizing how involved it was. I assume it has to be one of the gentler ways to go. But between the price of the tanks, the fact they're not at all conspicuous, and more, I'm just trying to think if there are any other gas methods I could read or if someone can send links to from here I can read through better? I feel frustrated, I have been sending the past few days trying to sort out information trying to find something and I feel like I'm just coming repeatedly short handed. Is research normally this extensive and hard for most people here?

I think carbon monoxide would be simpler, just burn some charcoal in a small, sealed space like a tent. make sure to take some sleeping pills before doing it
