Hello kumusta rin its so nice to meet another filipino here lol. Not really I just want to know how it is for other people. For methods I just look up complete manual of suicide by wataru Tsurumi.

Uy Pilipins! Writing this from the train in Manila right now. Last month I seriously thought about jumping in front of the MRT, but I find that stopping a train line and traumatizing bystanders just to Catch The Bus (or train!) isn't worth it. Especially now that gas prices are so high.

it will be long gone now - around 15-20 years ago, i think

it was pretty simple though - questions like
how often do you eat rice
a) never
b) weekly
c) every freaking meal

i had never eaten so much rice before i married a filipina - nor pork, but more importantly pandesal, leche flan or buko pie either

... and it's up. English here, Tagalog there.

when my wife first came over, she would be talking on the phone to relatives and i would hear
oo - i start worrying thinking uh oh, what is wrong

taglish is funny, well not taglish as such, but when watching their news, and they talk a few lines in tagalog with a filipino accent, and suddenly without a break switch into english with an american style accent
or 100 words in tagalog, and right in the middle there is one english word

they are amazing people though, so hospitable and friendly

We can invite you to the Filipino conversation. They are serving rice with lumpia, rice with spicy bicol, rice with pork skewers... etc.
