"The median lethal distance for falls is four stories or 48 feet, according to the reference book Trauma Anesthesia. This means that 50% of patients who fall four stories will die. The chance of death increases to 90% when the fall is seven stories, the book said."

Height is everything. That's about <60 ft.

I'd feel way more comfortable doing it from at least 1,000 ft, but jumping isn't, and will never be, my preferred method.

I know the question might sound stupid, but will I feel pain?

Your question is not stupid, It is just a question. Stupids are us, people.

About jumping I always have had a theory., and sounds so stupid like your question. joke.

I think that is not painful, 6 stories X 3 metres. 18 metres. I am not physicist. Guess there will not have any feelings. It is so violent, extremely.

But use to be easy that Emergency Service saved them.

Varies upon the buildings architecture, the surface that you impact/hit, if there's anything that breaks the fall, etc. It can kill, but it's advised often to have an excess of or higher quantity of stories to heighten pressure of impact, and total damage done. However, it most likely would kill, but it's best to be safe then sorry when it comes to ctb-ing.

Well shit, can't get partial suspension hanging right and now this
Don't beat yourself up my friend. I've failed partial over a dozen times. We can't give up. Just keep trying, or find a new method. Hanging and jumping are good methods, have you considered gun, or any other methods?

I don't like guns and there's no way I'll get one
Maybe I'll try SN or just jump if I lose my patience

Don't jump and paralyze yourself! (Assuming you're jumping 6 floors) The only way you would likely die from 6 floors is by landing on your head, and you can't ensure where your body lands while falling. I can see you simply breaking bones and ending up in a mental institution if you're jumping from 60 feet (6 stories) Yeah, try SN. Or you could keep trying with partial like I am. It just takes luck with partial it seems. You just need that lucky time.

If I'm jumping than I'll go to a high place, for sure
SN is on the back of my head for now and yeah, partial will hopefully work at some point

Well, you say high place. What do you consider high? I wouldn't jump from anything under 25 stories. Jumping from 25 stories on to land is 95% to 98% fatal. I wouldn't even recommend jumping from 100 feet (10 stories)

If your method is jumping why don't jump in a beautiful landscape like a bridge or cliff in the woods:happy:. Only thoughts...

I don't really know from where, haven't thought about this method a lot honestly, but thanks for the advice :) if I'll jump than yeah about 25 stories

If I jump from a Clif or a mountain, hopefully it would be considered an accident

Why? If you don't mind me asking

If this is a bit old to bump a thread, then I'm sorry, went on a weekend Bender with Xanax, weed, and alcohol and now I'm back.

I've suffered PTSD watching people fall to their death and I could never bear to do it.

Also I'd opt for something that doesn't immediately destroy the brain. I'm interested in that "Final DMT-releasive moment of death where your life flashes before you" moment. I'd love to see that during my death.
