Sat here at a train station crying wanting to end my life and people just look at me like a freak nobody cares only about there own lives . Not one person has asked if m ok
Sometimes when people see others crying in public they think they're crazy so they get scared. But you're right. Unless something is happening to them no one cares about anyone else. I'll never forget the kind woman who comforted me in the doctors office when the doctor wouodnt take me because I was a few minutes late because there was an accident on the highway. I've never forgotten that. I'm sorry no one reached out to help you but we are all here for you.
Humanity today is losing the capability of working as a community. The ethos of 'not my problem' is fairly rampant. But I thin that could also be related to where you are in the world. If you are in a big city, I wouldn't be surprised. If you were in a small town or village you may get someone helping you.

This happened recently to me, chap in the cafe in my village sat there crying so I sat with him. Never seen him before I said I'm here if you want to talk. I brought him coffee and he said he'd just lost his dog and he'd usually be walking him now but didn't know what to do. We talked dogs and shared pictures and I said do you know the steam railway he said yes I'm a member I said tell you what we are always looking for volunteers come up and have a look around. He's now doing the garden beds. He said he'd sat in the cafe for an hour and was ignored until I came over.
