Sounds ridiculous but it kinda makes me mad that if I ctb right now, I'll never be able to see the ending of some shows/anime I watch and some manga I read.
Such as One Piece, Detective Conan, Better Call Saul, New Rocky movies, etc.

What about you? Anything "silly" that's keeping you in this world somehow?

It's not silly at all! It's called FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). For me it would be maybe some huge advances in technology or something related to space travel. But right now what keeps me going on is that I have a mess in some paperwork and I don't want to leave my sister to handle that. I want to order it and leave everything as neat as possible for my family so they don't have to suffer more.

As cool as I find the idea of space travel to be, I agree. We have bigger fish to fry, IMO. I have several family members who were involved with NASA, and even I say it's largely a waste of money. It just doesn't make sense to me anymore aside from a defense/military angle.

Yes, there's a big controversy because of that!
However, Elon is certainly getting that money and it seems he's really gonna go for it! I wish they solved poverty and climate change's problems instead of that but I gotta admit it would be quite interesting to see humans going to Mars.

If you were a billionaire from South Africa, would you spend a large portion of your wealth on the people in your country/continent who are forced to drink unclean water & eat a plate of rice a day, or on fancy toys that fly to shitty planets where life is impossible?

My cat is rather cute and attached to me at the hip. Being alive also means that I can retreat into my imagination and cope by pretending that those who have died are still alive -- but that is both foolish and not sustainable because the payoff is almost nothing. I'm much too anhedonic to consume media much less claim that they are keeping me alive. Procrastination and lingering SI are the two biggest, not "silly" culprits.

there are some very serious reasons i'm still here, but some "silly" ones are because my cat would miss me, i'm waiting for updates on an indie game i really like, wanting to see how My Hero Academia ends, and stuff like that

Feelings. Seriously. I have pretty much lost all hope and sense of urgency to improve my life, yet, I stick around so others don't have to be sad. Think about it, there's no point in doing something if you are doing it just for others for the rest of your life. You're basically suffering and making them sad anyways.
