Yeah SI is a bitch.. I'm looking to ctb soon too. Got discharged from a psych ward a few months back and I'm waiting until I'm not under too much surveillance as before. Wishing you luck!

Quite anecdotal, but I observe many falls from height being reported in the news often, but our media outlets try not to use 'suicide' explicitly. Makes sense due to the abundance of high rise flats here like Hong Kong. Personally I'm going to opt for FSH as I can't leave the house without raising suspicion.

it would need to be a secluded building somewhere.

Falling on someone has always scared me out of jumping as well.

I'm not a native, my family migrated here but I became a naturalised citizen after serving mandatory military service.

Planning on using my window grille, weight tested it a few times already.

I feel for you. I always thought, compared to anywhere else, Singapore was my last bastion. That said, I know the poverty across there was bad. But I love good food and culture. And, from what I saw on Youtube, that resonated with me. Again sorry for u. And once again makes me think about future, and life prospects

i'm personally too scared to consider anything except jumping hahah. but yeah im trying to figure ways to reduce the SI

drowning sounds horrendous to me atleast yes
i'm guessing SI is strong with drowning too especially since i know how to swim

I got discharged in Nov 2025 after a failed suicide attempt. The 3 days stay in IMH was kinda peaceful though.
Fellow Singaporeans. I don't know the best way to end my life painlessly. I attempted suicide via exit bag and helium tank. Stupidly, I probably did not do enough research. The SI saved my life, and brought me to IMH for 3 nights stay after paramedics and police came to my house.

Months later now, i still wish to leave this world, but don't know how to leave without pain and in peace.

I am a dog lover. I suddenly think, why not capture and torture animal abusers first before I end my useless life?
There have been cases of animal abuse and "murder" recently. I wish those abusers hell….

Hey fellow sinkie! I'm sorry things haven't worked out for you… I can relate to how hard it is to ctb due to SI, with many failed attempts myself.

There's a chance we might have met in the psych ward because I was there once around Nov and another time in Jan too hahaha.

Anyways, it's nice knowing there are more of us from SG in this forum. Wishing you peace in whichever path you choose.

Thanks for the offer but I've been a shut-in and I only go out for appointments nowadays. I honestly feel worse when going outside, seeing people functioning normally (on the surface at least). Always open to chat though.

Im 44yrs old. You? I was in IMH (forgot the name of the ward but it was for suicidal patients mostly) around 23-25 Nov 2025.
