Anyone here heard of shifting?

it's kinda hard to explain. It's like where you meditate to move your consciousness to a different reality, but also some people believe you're just training your brain enough to have a dream you can't distinguish from real life
Oh yeah, okay, I definitely do that. I'll wake up and keep on acting like the dream is real for a few minutes until my brain catches up. Or start talking out loud to day dreams I'm having. Does that count?

I have heard of it here before. A member ages ago was discussing it. They may have even claimed they could do it- if I remember rightly. Not too sure. It was ages ago. I tried to find the thread just now but had no luck. Might be worth a search if you have the patience.
Do you experience it then? Do you actually 'shift' into another life or world?
The closest I get I suppose is dreaming. I go to some really amazing places sometimes. Pretty sure I'm always me though. Kind of a POV view of a weird and wonderful world sometimes. Usually based on landscapes and architecture here but- more fantastical. The downside being I'm usually massively anxious about something.
I mean when I go to sleep I imagine a different life. A life where i make better choices, be oblivious and happy. Makes me feel better. But when it comes to ACTUALLY shifting... no.
