Anyone else feel weird about eating on the day they plan to die?

I know for the people who choose to die by SN you have to fast so you're unable to eat, but for those with other methods like hanging, jumping, overdose etc. do you feel weird about eating on the day you plan to die?

Like right now, I'm hungry, but I don't want to eat just in case I decide to try to hang myself later. I think that's because I'm worried I'll feel nervous later and throw up either before or during my attempt. I don't know. Does anyone else care about that or is it just me?

I think I would, too. I couldn't care less about throwing up but the thought of dying and the final image people have of me looking fat/inflated because I recently ate haunts me.

Yes. My thought process is: I'm going to die anyway, so why waste food? But if fasting is not required I'll probably just force myself to eat enough to physically have the strength to do whatever need to be done in the process of ctb. I do feel weird thinking about it—eating, which is connected with life and growth, just to die

Yes I have. I'll do it in a pool and I wouldn't like to mess it up more than necessary. I guess my obsessive side will be with me untill after death.

The last time I tried to CTB I didn't eat the day of or before cause if someone found my body I didn't want them to smell the shit that involuntarily comes when you die.

Not personally, being ana makes fasting a lot easier though. But I will probably be a red splatter on a railtrack so I don't think it matters, It'll be gruesome regardless.

finally, something i can completely agree with you on.
i constantly end up accidentally fasting without realizing sometimes because i just see the need to eat as an annoying distraction more than much else.

though tbh, i do think that if/when i end up ctb, i'd probably take comfort in the idea of a last meal. just one last tiny ritual of kindness to yourself would probably sound kinda comforting in a weird way.

Being worried about the mess shouldn't be your responsibility, but I feel for you that are concerned about it. Personally, I'd line the place of death with a plastic or other inpermeable object to eliminate the mess.

I worked for a coroner (FOR, not AS) for a bit. I'm DEFINITELY eating a whole tub of ice cream when I die because I want to flip off that entire profession and because I'll get to enjoy it without worrying about damaging my looks since I probably won't have time to digest and process it before I kick it.

Not at all, I don't really see it any differently than just eating on any other day. I don't think (when at the time I was thinking about CTB'ing in 2019) that I considered what I was going to eat, it was likely just going to be another normal day.

I personally plan to eat a last meal before I die. So I think either is fine. People will be more focused on the death than the food in my stumach.
It will be my favorite - the meal. To make my last day less horrid than it needs to be.

Agreed I have a tattoo of a banana and orange have sex on my right thigh with a bubble comic caption coming from the banana asking " orange you going to cum" so I could care less if they have to deal with some shit in my pants

dying is gross no matter how much one tries to avoid it . even if one doesnt eat, they will open us including the intestines for the necropsy process. I would eat whatever and just use adult pampers to make them the job a lil easier when handling
