Discussion Anyone else don't want a funeral?

I want a green burial. I want to grow into flowers. Be effective.

Whatever transpires between now and then, it doesn't really matter how I get there.

Funerals might help the still living feel less bad about what had happened. I just don't want to be a financial burden after I go.

no point of wasting money on flowers and all that other bullshit that costs thousands of dollars. not to mention they won't even be able to find a recent picture of me to use. i absolutely don't want any type of funeral just to be cremated directly.

I would leave it up to my family. I don't care, I'll be dead. If my family wants a funeral to make them feel better thats on them. I just hope it doesn't cost them too much money.

I have an appointment with an attorney this coming week, and, amongst many other things, I'm having it put right into my will that I do not want a funeral, or service, of any kind. I am to be cremated and my remains are to be placed in a certain predetermined place.
