The best and frankly only good part of the day is the few seconds when you first wake up and don't realize you are still alive. Then the sadness and deep self loathing starts to set in and the rest of the day is ruined.
This has been my daily life for the better part of a decade. It's like I am in the movie groundhogs day but much more pathetic.
Wouldn't be so terrible to me if I could wake up with some sort of amnesia. Certain memories of mine lay in wait for the very moment I wake, like shadow people during sleep paralysis. Day after day after day. I'd honestly give anything to go a full day without these memories replaying in my head continuously.
Yeah, everyday. Getting through each and every day is exhausting and then I get to do it all over again. The moment I hate the most though is laying in bed at night unable to go to sleep because I dread waking up the next day and having to live it.
