How long does the effect of anti emetics last for?
I know you're supposed to take things like amitriptyline 40 minutes after anti emetics, but if you delay how long do antiemetics last for? Thanks xxx

Domperidone, has an elimination half-life of approximately 7-9 hours in healthy adults. This means it takes about that amount of time for half of the drug to be cleared from the bloodstream.

Domperidone usually achieves its peak concentration within 30 minutes to 2 hours after oral administration.
