Yes I'm salty and I don't care. New year's day has lost all meaning for me beyond denoting the start of another of pointless existence and misery. Like the planet or the universe gives a fuck about how much you give a shit about another year gone by. The high point of course is watching idiots around me make fools of themselves getting stupid drunk and making resolutions most will never keep. I want to be done with this fucking world once and for all

A new year certainly just means more opportunities for suffering, I'd never see it as something to celebrate. The whole idea of "happiness" in this futile and cruel existence is very delusional to me.
