Not Waving But Browned Off….

Not been on here for a few weeks.
Must have been distracted.
Distraction eh?
How to live is all about how to distract oneself, busy oneself, really.
I wonder if years ago when people worked longer hours in more gruelling jobs, if suicide was more or less popular?
Is time the luxury that drives us to overthinking?
Because, when I do really think it all through, deliberate, I always want the same thing, peace. To switch off. I don't care what other people think. There was a guy on Facebook who was missing a couple of days and everyone was fussing over him. And I just thought "well, if he has done himself in…..if it's what he wants", but couldn't say that because people don't like it.
Will soon be 50 now. Just over a month. Can't wait to get myself signed up to Exit so I can go to their workshops, find out more in person. I've never been very practical. Things don't sink in.
Mother's Day here in the UK today. Will have to go out for the entire day, my son struggles with it. Just ends up being a day of
massive disappointment.
