I'm going to wake up
Realizing that, I'm done trying.
Another failed attempt,
I'm going to cry.
Is it a sickness?
awaiting stillness.
My mind won't stop,
I want to die.

Falter, faulted, a failure
I've been.
These thoughts keep racing,
The voices within.
I'm tortured, tormented,
I'm lost in a moment.
Your voice speaks the loudest,
With the silence it's in.

How do you imagine death? Is it to be much alike how before we were born, perhaps akin to this sleeps you take with zero dreams, a different common idea is our memories as children flashing before our eyes untill its over. Do you ask yourself how long people will remember you after you die. How long untill they forget, what will happen to all your things, left used waiting for your return? Hey there. Sorry for the late response. I've experienced a close to death encounter in my life. It was a complete halt of my thoughts. I remember waking up and finishing the sentence I was saying at the time.

For me, death is purely a matter of emptiness. There is nothing. No activity, no thoughts, no consciousness.

To me life is empty. But death is a sweet peace. I remember as my brain was waking back up I felt confused at first as I started processing and thinking again. Then as my eyes opened and realization started, I remember being very confused about where I was. Realising that consciousness exists outside of my regular faculties. Strange experience.
