I've been a part of forums and discussions like this since the internet was invented. Multiple attempts later and I'm still fucking here...

I've also been a lurker here for some time and rather active in the 7 or so months since I joined. I've seen so many people come and go in that time that it's a bit mind boggling sometimes.

So many people have come and gone. Some have left because they decided to try again. Some were successful. Many you don't ever know what happened.
I don't have a great memory, so it's hard to remember a lot of people. Some weren't even here long before they CTB. I've seen a few, what I think are cray ideas to CTB. However I understand that people are very desperate to get out of here & don't have very many options … if any.

I started out on the old S.S. Forum on Reddit. When it was banned I came here. I didn't know about the new S.S. until I saw the link in Time To Go. Every once in a while I still log in there when this site is down. There are so many restrictions now that you can't really post much without getting in trouble. I had to edit a post for the word Asshole. I understand though, it must not be easy for the MODS over there. They just don't want that one banned also.

I agree with what you said about people coming and goes.
I was thinking of making a list of categories that people fall into.
For example, this forum helped me, so I don't want to ctb at the moment,
but I stay, because I like the people who come here (mostly), and
I try to help when I can (to ctb or not to ctb).

I think most people who came here early on, were Reddit transplants.
